Amp Energy Brand total= 32 |
Amp Energy Amp is a great company, because being a product of Pepsi means you know how to make something taste good. Amp energy drinks are like what you wish Mountain Dew tasted like. I love almost every flavor of Amp, and they are my drink of choice when I drink for pleasure. Elevate Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 9/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: Elevate is a mixed berry flavor, but they avoided the yogurt taste by going for more of a "blue" flavor. Delicious, and very refreshing. Amp also provides a good boost of energy, whether it be sugar or caffeine. Lightning Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Grocery Store, Candor, NY Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: Lightning is the first entry in Amp's "too tough for a pitcher" line. It's supposed to be lemonade. It turned out with too much of a lemon attack, and not very refreshing. Still a good boost though. Original Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 10/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: The original Amp may be the most delicious energy drink on the planet. I love this stuff. It's perfect from start to finish. Energy is a good boost. Overdrive Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 9/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: Another delicious Amp energy drink, Overdrive is to Mountain Dew Code Red as Original is to Original Mountain Dew. The only difference is, it's better! Doesn't quite achieve what the original Amp does, but this is still a very good drink. Good boost of energy too. Relaunch Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: This is one of Amp's three newer flavors that came out when they changed their can. It's orange flavored, but they added enough generic citrusness and did whatever they did to keep it from being just like an orange soda. Not up to par with the previous two, but still good. Energy is the same. Energy Shot Jakfruit Citrus Size: 2oz bottle Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 5/10 Review: This is Amp's sluggish entry into the energy shot market, and I'm not sure why they named the flavor. I assume it's supposed to be the same as Original Amp. Compared to other stuff on the market, it tastes good. Energy isn't much compared to its larger brethren. Traction Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: My fourth favorite Amp flavor, after Elevate, Overdrive, and Original. It's a delicious grape, true to the flavors of grape sodas. Energy is a good boost. Tradin' Paint Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 9/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: This is another Dale Jr. special drink; it's supposed to symbolize his car scraping against the others. The "green" Amp flavor has scraped against some other flavors, and they've added those to the drink. As far as I can tell, though, all they did was take elements that were already part of the Amp taste and overstate them. Still very tasty though. Energy is the same. Black Tea and Lemon Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Grocery Store, Candor, NY Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 3/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: This is another "too tough for a pitcher" item, being based on black tea instead of lemonade. I don't know what black tea tastes like (I hate tea), but this tasted like stale cola. Energy's the same. Green Tea and Yuzu Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 6/10 Review: This is much better than the black tea flavor, but still, the complexity of the tea flavor keeps it from being refreshing or very tasty. Energy's the same. Other Items My collection also contains container and design variations, special edition cans, and different sizes. Please refer to the the main list. |
