Atomic Blast Atomic Blast was a drink I saw on EnergyFiend, and they said they found it in Sheetz. I knew there was a few Sheetz in the town I was in, so I decided to chance it, and I found them! Apparently, all Sheetz carry them now. Which is to be expected; Sheetz has a very standardized selection across all their locations. This drink has an interesting container; it's a bottlecan, but not with a poptop like the Green Label Mt. Dews or a battery cap like Jolt. These have a metal screwoff cap. Cola Size: 16oz bottlecan Location Acquired: Sheetz, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Freakshow Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: I don't like Colas much, and this one certainly didn't change my mind. It was a watery, bitter cola with nothing more than a nominal energy kick. Green Apple Size: 16oz bottlecan Location Acquired: Sheetz, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Freakshow Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This was my favorite out of all 5; but the overcarbonation and watery-ness makes it not quite as good as other Green Apples I've had. Nominal energy. Orange Cream Size: 16oz bottlecan Location Acquired: Sheetz, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Freakshow Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: Although this was supposed to be orange and cream, I only detected orange. It was a smooth orange, in their defense. Still overcarbonated, watery, and nominal energy. Strawberry Banana Size: 16oz bottlecan Location Acquired: Sheetz, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Freakshow Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: Strawberry Banana isn't a flavor you see much in energy drinks; so this was interesting. Not bad, but not great either. All the usuals apply, nominal energy, carbonation, etc.. Wild Berry Citrus Size: 16oz bottlecan Location Acquired: Sheetz, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Freakshow Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This tasted like liquid Sweet Tarts. I'm still debating whether that's good or bad. Nominal energy, blah blah blah. |
