Full Throttle Energy Drink Full Throttle was the first energy drink ever in my collection, and the first drink I ever tried. I love Full Throttle. They are one of the largest and most popular brands, and can be found pretty much everywhere. Coffee Caramel Size: 15oz can Location Acquired: Hinds Oil Mart, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This is just a moderately good latte, no discernible flavors. Tastes good overall. Energy is ok from coffee and energy blend. Mocha Size: 15oz can Location Acquired: Hinds Oil Mart, New Milford, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: Again, pretty much just a latte although there is a tiny bit of chocolate detectable. Energy is ok. Vanilla Size: 15oz can Location Acquired: Hinds Oil Mart, New Milford, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This is the worst out of the three, because the vanilla makes it light and weak. Still pretty good as far as coffee goes though, and the energy is ok. Energy Drink Blue Demon Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 10/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: Blue Demon is flavored off of Blue Agave, a cactus-like plant native to the Southwest USA and Mexico. This flavor is complex, dark, and delicious. There is no way to describe it other than that. Energy is good for newcomers to energy drinks; for seasoned drinkers, this is just the best soda you'll ever drink. Fury Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This is an orange-citrus drink, but it's not like an orange soda; it's more complex. Relatively, this is the second worst Full Throttle regular flavor, but it's still very tasty. Energy is ok. (Nature is One Bad) Mother Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Nicholson, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: Ever taken some juice past its prime, added some dirt, then drank it? That's what this tastes like.\ It's an earthy, dark, blueberryish flavor that isn't very pleasant. Energy is ok. Original Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Price Chopper, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 10/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This is the first energy drink I ever tasted, and two years later I still love it. The can calls it "citrus," but that is not enough to describe the taste. Whatever it is, it's very good. Like Blue Demon, this must be drunk to be experienced. I recommend this drink to new drinkers and junkies alike; it can provide energy, or simply an amazing taste experience. Unleaded/Zero Size: 16oz can Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 6/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: I can't even truly acknowledge that this exists, or I would become wild with rage. This is the sugar free version of original Full Throttle, my favorite drink. Needless to say, it's not as good by a long shot. Energy is ok. Unleaded is the same as Zero, a later name for the same product. Quick Shot This is Full Throttle's entry into the rapidly expanding energy shot market, with shot adaptations of their two best flavors in tall containers. Blue Agave Size: 2oz bottle Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: This is the shot version of Blue Demon; and stays pretty true to its roots. Compared to other shots like 5 Hour Energy, it wins by a long shot. Energy is ok. Citrus Size: 2oz bottle Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The City Taste Rating: 8/10 Energy Rating: 3/10 Review: The shot adaptation of the original flavor, this also stays close to its roots.
