GU Energy Gel Again, I'm not sure what causes bicyclists and runners to think that carbs give them energy; but as always, every company, no matter how deluded with false energy products, concedes to reality and adds small bits of caffeine to a few flavors. Chocolate Outrage Size: Gel packet thing Location Acquired: Dick's Sporting Goods, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Highrise Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 1/10 Review: Chocolate is always good; but in weird-fitnesstypes-sporty-gel form, it's not quite so tasty. Still, overall it's ok. Energy, nope. Orange Burst Size: Gel packet thing Location Acquired: Dick's Sporting Goods, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Highrise Taste Rating: 2/10 Energy Rating: 1/10 Review: This was really gross. Texture, gross. Taste, gross, Energy, ha. Tri-Berry Size: Gel packet thing Location Acquired: Dick's Sporting Goods, Scranton, PA Location in Collection: The Highrise Taste Rating: 3/10 Energy Rating: 1/10 Review: Texture is still gross, but the flavor is better. Energy, nope. Vanilla Bean Size: Gel packet thing Location Acquired: Dick's Sporting Goods, Vestal, NY Location in Collection: The Highrise Taste Rating: 5/10 Energy Rating: 1/10 Review: This was the best of the four, although the texture and aftertaste still leave alot to be desired.
