Iovate Health Sciences Iovate are the brains behind some of the biggest names in diet and workout products today, including Hydroxycut and MuscleTech. A few of their products qualify as energy. Extreme Energy 6 Hour Shot Berry Size: 2oz bottle Location Acquired: GNC, Oakdale Mall, Johnson City, NY Location in Collection: The Shots Taste Rating: 2/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This was the second energy shot I got ever. It was a very vitamin-heavy berry flavor; and the energy was pretty good with 200mg caffeine. Orange Size: 2oz bottle Location Acquired: Pump 'n' Pantry, Montrose, PA Location in Collection: The Shots Taste Rating: 4/10 Energy Rating: 4/10 Review: This flavor came out long after the other one had been around; it actually wasn't bad compared to the original flavor. Still, citrus energy shots are never the best. Energy was pretty good. Hydroxycut Hydroxycut is the newest miracle diet pill; I have no idea if it works or not. They made a diet/energy shot, which counts. You've been warned. I didn't shake it, and was assaulted by chunks of vitamins. Other than settling, the flavor isn't all that bad. Energy's pretty good too. MuscleTech Nano Vapor Size: 13oz bottle Location Acquired: GNC, State College, PA Location in Collection: The Roomies Taste Rating: 7/10 Energy Rating: 10/10 Review: The clerk in GNC said "I love that stuff" when I picked this up. She appeared to be a very manly woman. Later, after reading the label, I found out why. It says "For men only." Funny stories aside, this drink touts itself as a "Vaso-anabolic psychoactive experience." What? I'm not sure what any of that means, but this is pretty powerful. I didn't fall asleep until 5 in the morning, after drinking this stuff at like 9 PM. The flavor is a smooth, almost too-sweet cherry punch flavor. Very good for such a powerful drink. There's another flavor, I'll get it soon. |
